Request “You and Me” by NEELY on your local Radio Station!!!
OK everyone, we need you now more than ever! We’ve included a list of over 200 radio stations that our song “You and Me” has been delivered to world wide. Please look at the list and call and\or email your local CHR (Christian Hit Radio), Christian Rock, or ROCK station (yeah NEELY can be played in both Christian and Mainstream markets!).
Right now we’ve got some good “ads” on some big radio stations. We’ve even got some “reporting” us…that basically means we are in the running to be on charts like Billboards Charts.
If your radio station hasn’t heard of us email us at: neelymusic@neelymusic.com with the radio station call numbers (ex KADI 90.2 FM) and a phone number or email address.
Thank you SO much for your help!
10 great things that NEELY experienced in 2011
I was seeing everyone else posting about all the great things that happened to them in 2011 and I thought, “you know we have a lot to be Thankful for too”. So I decided to put together a list of 10 great things that happened to NEELY (and\or the NEELY family) in 2011.
In no particular order they are:
92 Shows in one year! While there are a few in the industry doing double that, most musicians in the music industry (Major Label artist included) are struggling even to get half the number of shows we have had. So we count that as a definite blessing!
A Coast to Coast Tour! That’s right, our fall tour took us from North Carolina to California and back to Tennessee. And that’s not even counting where we went on our Spring and Summer tours!
Disney World AND Disney Land in the same year. Our girls endure a lot of time away from home cruising down the highway. Granted it was a financial sacrifice on our part but we appreciate our girls and how they handle themselves on the road and in front of promoters. And to experience those two moments with them…priceless!
Atlantic Ocean and Pacific Ocean. Until this year our girls have never experienced an Ocean. Now they’ve swam in the Atlantic and waded out in the Pacific (it was pretty cold). So far their vote is for the Florida Coast.
4th of July in Washington DC. We had a couple at a House Concert in Maryland ask us what we were doing on the 4th. When we told them we were going down to “the mall” (where the reflecting pool is) they said, “Don’t take your kids into that mess! Come to our apartment!”. Well their apartment was right across the Potomac, 4 stories up. We literally had a front row seat of the DC fireworks display with the Lincoln Memorial, Washington Memorial, and Nation Capital as a back drop. We even had a front row seat of Marine One heading to the White House lawn!
Gator Hunting. Well not really “hunting” like you’d see on “Swamp People”. JP, our promoter from FBC in Eustis, FL, took us out and about in search of Alligators. We only saw one in an overflow ditch but we did see quite a few turtles and a big old Water Moccasin (Cotton Mouth Snake) up close! Not to mention just the natural beauty of Florida…oh and the girls found a Ducking that befriended them and tried following us home.
The Grand Canyon. I can’t even begin to tell you how surreal it is to stand on the edge of the Grand Canyon. We only got to stay for half a day as we were pushing on from shows in NM to shows in CA but we are so glad we took that half a day to see it. Amazing!
Running Springs, CA. I hate to say it but we were generally unimpressed with California. It’s mostly Dessert and any place where there is city the smog is very thick and trash lines most of the roads. However there was a gem of a little community in the mountains right above the San Bernadina Valley called Running Springs. We did some music for the Calvary Chapel of Running Springs and that was just the Cherry on top. To see the beauty of Creation from that vantage point along with beautiful people who seemingly became instant family…WOW!!! I could go on and on…but I’ll spare you :)
New Mexico. It doesn’t matter where we are in New Mexico…Farmington, Cerillos, Albuquerque, Silver City, Las Cruces, Hatch…the food is amazing, the people are amazing, the scenery is breath taking! And we have a special place in our heart for the land of “Green and Red Chillis”. Stop at the Hatch exit off I-25 and get some Chillis (we usually go to Gilly’s Chillis). You won’t be disappointed!
5 Trails Winery in Paxton, NE. A small Western Nebraska town of 500 people has this little boutique looking winery that is just amazing! Every time we play there the house is packed to people that are singing along. It’s a magical time and Pat and Lori Gammet (owner’s of 5 Trails) always roll out the red carpet for us.
Once I got started with our list I realized that I could have kept going and going. We’ve been so blessed to be able to meet so many people and do so many things this past year. Here’s a few other things:
Being befriended by Phil Vassar and getting lost in his huge Nashville mansion
Golden Gate Bridge
Yosemite National Park
The Delta - just south of Sacramento, CA
San Antonio River Walk
Driving around Toby Keith’s property in Norman, OK
Shooting a music video and nearly getting hit by a train
Gettysburg and Antitum Battlefields
Chez Bubba Cafe in Goehner, NE
The Pour House in Friend, NE
The Kemery House in Sacramento, CA
the beginnings of NEELYfitness.com
Playing at The Rutledge in Nashville with my heroes Brett, Tom, and Todd
and the list goes on and on….
Thanks so much for all that you do for us and for taking a chance on us! This year has been so amazing and we’re looking forward to the doors that will be opened to us this coming year!
Check out Jeremy’s P90X-Insanity Transformation video. This is an honest and humbling look at how out of shape I (Jeremy) was as well as how dumb I was for not doing “the whole package” meaning Nutrition Guide and Shakeology. I was wrong…those two items are absolutely CRITICAL!!!

a review of “Color Blind” by Hal Swift
Although our new acoustic album “Color Blind” is only available via our merchandise table out on the road. A few people have got their hands on a copy. One of those individuals, Hal Swift from Sioux Falls, SD, had this to say about the new album:
“Ah, it had a smooth flavor, none of the bitterness in more acidic blends, oh and chocolately roasted almond overtones! HA!!
WOW!! Awesomely Smooth!! Would be my take! I’m lovin’ the laid back feel that I think a LOT of people will catch on to. Very reflective of just hanging out with Jeremy and Kaci playing on the road! Love it!
I especially enjoyed track 2 with the electronic drums. I know I like a track when my first response is to turn it off after it’s over because it has inspired something in me with my own song writing, but that’s what I did last night on the way home after hearing that one.
In all, it was so cool to hear some familiar Neely tunes re-imagined with a few new favorites as well!! I’ll be keeping this one in my player for a while! Thanks guys!”
To pre-order color blind head on over to http://www.neelymusic.com and click on “store”. You won’t be dissapointed!
It’s finally available to the public. “Complete” (The Wedding Song) is now available on iTunes and AmazonMP3.com and we are wanting some big download numbers to send a message to the industry!
The story: a little over 2 years ago Kaci’s older siter, Kelli, was married to David. No big deal right? People get married everyday. Well at the time they got married Kelli was 35 and Dave was 31. Still no big deal right? Wrong! Both Kelli and Dave had made a commitment to be pure for their Wedding Day!!! When Kaci and I was asked to sing at their Wedding I knew that I needed to do something special. That’s when “Complete” was written AND the first people ever to hear it live were those at Kelli & Dave’s Wedding that day.
Since that day we’ve played that song at nearly every concert. It doesn’t matter who has heard it: married, divorced, living with someone, those who aren’t married…all have given us the same sentiment, “I wish that was MY story”! And for those young people out there, they say, “this song gives me hope”!
Just know that this song has been played in House Concerts, Coffee Houses, Festivals, Wineries, Bars, and Churches with all the same response. The people who have shared with us have been those who are Christians and man who are not…so this is not a “religious sentiment”.
Please make a stand for purity and download a copy of “Complete” from iTunes or AmazonMP3 today:
I’m not going to go into all the technical details of the new “Google Accounts” push with regular gmail users and Google Apps users such as us because the fallout is most important to us. Because of the fiasco we’ve been locked out of our current Blog, http://neelymusic.blogspot.com, and so we are now switching it tublr (http://neelymusic.tublr.com).
Honestly this is a HUGE blessing in disguise! It’s not that Blogspost was horrible but tublr is much easier to handle and we will be able to use mobile tools to update more frequently (I can sense you are rolling your eyes and sighing thinking “yeah right”).
Anyways, we are working to update the feed to our website so it’ll update but we will also have this thing connected to Facebook and Twitter.
NEELY is a Husband-Wife Rock Duo, based out of Nashville, TN, made up of Jeremy Neely and Kaci Neely. For more information on this Duo check out their website at: http://www.neelymusic.com
